Well written I would have hated this story on that alone, but add in the lack of logic, the constant plot point manipulation of facts (including day day to rewriting of what was said and done), the continual 'you saw this but it really said this), the sacrificing of Sami to pimp the homewrecking ho and NOW the article from hell? This has to be the absolute WORST storyline EVER!

I think there are way too many people who are cheated on, and I know enough to know that most initial responses may be the initial breaking of things (what a clichéd way to put it) but rarely is it logical (like thinking to call a counsellor) or rational (thinking how do I save this relationship), one thing that is totally unanimous is the need for support, not condemnation.

No matter what the fault of the cheating never lies with the person cheated on but by the cheater and the person they were with (if they are aware). Yes, Sami had fault in what led him there, but how he handled it was ALL on EJ and Abby (more blame on Abby IMO, not to excuse EJ).

When I myself was cheated on I said nothing while I processed it. Then I gathered proof and sat and ate a pint of B&J's. By the time he got home from work all his CD/DVD's were scratched and neatly back in their cases for later discovery. I confronted him, he denied, I pulled out proof, he denied, I smacked him and kicked him out... He wanted to talk about it. I had not one fuck to give about it. I then got depressed and wondered what was wrong with me. At that point my friends and family's support help me get up and move on. None blamed me (though in hindsight I can see what I wasn't doing right in the relationship but it doesn't excuse his actions).

Does every woman handle it like me? No. But most of the audience wants to see Sami be supported and helped, only agenda driven tin foil hatters could find the victim being the villian and the perpetrator being the victim as justified or entertaining.

Will Horton has gone from possibly the 3rd best character on the show to a total ungrateful schmuck in the time it took CM to leave the building and GW to enter. I blame mostly the writing, but GW's take on Will is uninspired.

At this point I'm utterly sick of 'poor St. golden ho' being the 'victim' (pleeeeeease), EJ being the 'villian' of the affair (she chased his dick all over town I SAW THIS), and Sami the other 'villian' (cause evidently getting someone fired for something that truly is a fire-able offense and confronting them for being the devious homewrecking ho they are is villainous when they earned it through their own actions). I'm also utterly sick of Sami going after EJ and not giving a shit how it effects the kids long term (they don't need money to be happy! Really Sami? Cause maybe not, but sitting in the welfare office for your food stamps sucks when mommy pissed away the servants and the house in a twisted form of revenge). I'm also sick to death of EJ not doing a damned thing to explain or defend himself.

What days continuously forgets is their target audience which is NOT old antiquated men with shriveled balls who lust for the 'old days' but women in the prime of their lives who themselves have gone through what Sami has and want to see her get her revenge on, the SAME women who want smart, logical writing not men cheating on the love of their lives who they finally got after chasing for 7 years and who they literally gave up everything for because...because...yeah....still working on that one.

Great post! It's the only satisfaction I've had in regards to this show in months...Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00108638504168816442noreply@blogger.com
